Welcome to Hope Heals.

My name is Melanie,  I am 28 years old and a survivor of both child sexual abuse and adult rape.

I originally made this site as a way to help myself process what had happened to me. It is my hope that it has grown into somewhere that can help others do the same. Hope heals has just had yet another make over, this one was inspired because had another experience that once again reminded me I will still need help on occasion.

If you are here because you are a survivor yourself then well done for reaching out, I know how hard that step is to take. I wish you both happiness and hope in your own healing.  

I realise a lot of visitors here will be people who want to support the survivors in their lives, to you i say thank you. Thank you for caring and thank you for trying to educate yourself in how best to do that.

Please keep yourself safe while here reading my site, there are parts that may be triggering to you and I do not use spoilers on this site. Hiding the real words of abuse and rape makes me angry, its something I promised myself I would never do here.
